Asks Times Higher Education. About a two minute read.
Comment: interesting article, but a false dichotomy — we can do both, subject to priorities and resources. And full disclosure — in 2018 to 2019 I created VR (Virtual Reality) simulations while at my prior University, focusing on finance (cash flow from fixed income instruments); it’s an incredibly labour intensive to carry out properly. I’ll revisit the tools just out of curiosity, but I suspect as a discipline over the next 5Y or so we’ll have lots to do to properly integrate AI into teaching. VR is a completely different kettle of fish.
