Comment: a very comprehensive overview of this often overlooked issue. Everyone seems all ga ga over models effortlessly writing text, but most are oblivious to ethical considerations. As AI becomes more pervasive in Education ethics are key to it’s success. Keep in mind, especially at the administrative level, AI will have full access to an ever expanding body of data on students. If this is implemented properly we should see success increase. But the reverse is also true, and if ethics aren’t addressed early on AI could become a credible deterrent rather than a useful tool.
